Gravity Clock combines a physics simulator with a minimalist clock design to create the 21st century successor of an hour glass. It not only shows the current time but also visualizes the passage of time in a tangible way by the permanent destruction and reconstruction of the clock face. Every second the hand breaks numbers out of the dial and lets them drop to the floor.
